Report a concern
7 August 2019Anyone who has a concern that a child or adult may be at risk of harm, or being harmed, should refer to our safeguarding team. The team is staffed by individuals who are experienced in dealing with these concerns and have undergone specific training for those who have a designated role in safeguarding within sports.
Referring a concern should in the first instance be done via your Club Welfare Officer. However, if you prefer, our Safeguarding team can be contacted via the form below, or by calling us on 01509 640700 (Option 1 for Swim England and then Option 5 for Safeguarding). Please leave a message if the team is unavailable and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Swim England also has a Coach Referral Protocol where concerns regarding coaching techniques can be raised.
The team will assess the information provided and take appropriate action.
